2010s Archived Election Data

The compressed (.zip) election datasets in this archive are reported to vintages of voting districts (VTDs) that are based on 2010 Census Geography. The datasets can each be joined to a corresponding VTD geographic layer available for download from the 2010s Archived VTD & Precinct Geography collection.

These election datasets are developed and compiled by the Research Division of the Texas Legislative Council for redistricting purposes. They are derived from election returns provided by the counties and the office of the secretary of state. There may be small differences between the data presented here and official election results.
